    Winter wear for women at Lovable India is built around the layer that does the real work: thermals. Our thermal lowers are a feather-soft brushed pointelle knit that holds body heat without bulk, and our cotton-blend thermal tops and tank tops are cut to disappear under a kurti, saree blouse, shirt or sweater from November to February. Add a Dri-Knit zip jacket with thumbholes for morning walks and the commute.     Winter wear at Lovable India

    • Thermal tops, 3/4 sleeve: U-neck cotton-blend thermal tops in black, white and skin that sit flat under a blouse or kurti. ₹599.

    How to layer for an Indian winter

    Mild winters (Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai): a thermal tank top or sleeveless thermal under your usual top for early mornings and late nights, or a Dri-Knit jacket over a t-shirt. North Indian winters (Delhi NCR, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh): a 3/4-sleeve thermal top and thermal lower under your clothes from December to January, with a sweater or jacket on top. Hill stations and travel: a full thermal set, then a fleece or sweater, then a jacket. Thermals in skin colour stay invisible under white and light clothing; black under dark clothing.

    What to look for in thermals

    • Brushed inner face (as on the Lovable thermal lowers): the soft inside is what holds warm air next to the skin.
    • Pointelle knit: tiny perforations let moisture out so you do not feel sweaty indoors or on the metro.
    • Stretch: thermals should fit close to the body; a loose thermal does not insulate.
    • Flat seams and a soft neckline so nothing shows or rubs under a blouse.
    • Colour: skin or white under light clothes, black under dark.

    Thermal wear size guide

    Thermals are worn snug. Buy your usual t-shirt size (S to XXL); if you are between sizes, go down for warmth and up for comfort over a long day. Thermal lowers follow your trouser size. Jackets are regular fit and should be bought in your usual size with room for a layer underneath. Check the women's size chart if unsure.

    Care

    Machine wash cold on gentle, no bleach, no fabric softener, and dry flat in shade; heat and tumble drying flatten the brushed inside and reduce warmth. Wash thermals after two or three wears, not daily, to keep the pile soft.
